Food Analysis

Quality control and the establishment of nutritional data including dietary fibre, saturated and unsaturated fats, mineral contents and energy values for labeling purposes. All of the major analytical methods used for these determinations are covered by our UKAS scope of accredited methods.

Sugars and Related Commodities

Fertilizer Analysis

Food & Beverage Ingredients

Tests carried out on many food ingredients (additives, E-numbers) according to British, European and United States Pharmacopoeias, and Commission Directive 2008/128/EC "Purity Criteria for Colours Used in Foodstuffs". For further details see the food additives page.

Oil Seeds, Oils, Fats and Waxes

Microscopy
