Wax Analysis
Salamon & Seaber offer a full analytical service for both crude and refined waxes. This includes the full range of natural waxes of animal, vegetable, mineral, and petroleum origins, together with the ever increasing range of synthetic waxes.
Waxes are used in many sectors including cosmetics, lubricants, polishes, glazing agents, protective coatings, Pharmaceuticals, etc.
Wax Analysis Parameters
A wide range of parameters are analysed at Salamon & Seaber as defined by The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC), British Pharmacopoeia (BP), and United States Pharmacopoeia (USP), etc..

The parameters analysed will depend on the type and use of the wax, e.g. typical analysis for beeswax, as specified in the British Pharmacopoeia (BP) include:
