Founded in 1910, Salamon & Seaber Ltd is an independent firm of consulting and analytical chemists.

We are Official Analysts to the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), members of the GAFTA Trade Assurance Scheme (GTAS) Membership No. 001 (Analysis & Testing Laboratory), and Full Member Analysts to the Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association (FOSFA).

We have a worldwide reputation for our independence, impartiality and integrity.

As well as our expertise in the analysis of Animal Feeding Stuffs, Cereals & Grains, and Oils and Oilseeds, we specialise in the analysis of Foods for Human Consumption with particular emphasis on determining nutritional data for labelling purpose and contract quality control work. We also have wide experience and expertise in the analysis of Fertilizers, Oils, Waxes, gums and food additives.

We understand that the accuracy of the analytical data is equally important to all our clients, crucial both for commodities traded internationally under GAFTA or FOSFA contracts, or for use in nutritional labelling.

We have been accredited by UKAS since 1993 and comply with the requirements of the recognised international standard ISO / IEC 17025:2005.

Salamon & Seaber already specialises in the analysis of many products and materials in addition to those relating to the trade associations mentioned above, but is always seeking to extend the range of tests that are carried out and therefore welcomes enquires from prospective clients.
