Official analysts to GAFTA

As official analysts to GAFTA (The Grain and Feed Trade Association) Salamon & Seaber is responsible for the analysis of many thousands of officially drawn samples each year. These are taken from shipments of the various commodities, which are used, in the manufacture of compound animal feed, both in this country and abroad.

The reliability and accuracy of the data on analysis certificates are of great importance commercially, as deficiencies established relative to contractual minima, e.g. in protein and/or oil contents can lead to large financial payments by the supplier to the receiver. Salamon & Seaber's complete independence is valued in this context.
